If you are a regular body building and you feel that every part of your body is growing except for your chest, then you are not alone. This is probably based on your genes bet there are really some muscles that grow easier for some people. However, this is not a hopeless case and here are some good chest workouts you can try.
First of all, stick to the bench press but put a bit of a change to it. Do 1/2s instead of the full bench press. You will find this much harder to do, thus putting a lot of pressure on your chest. So just push out like you would a normal bench press, but instead of lowering it all the way to your chest, just lower it down half way then push it back up again. Then lower it like a normal bench press then push up. This is just one count.
Another you should start doing is incline dumbbell presses. These are much better at toning your upper chest than a flat one ever could so you should try this too. You should be able to lift a bit less weight compared to a flat one because of the angle you are working with.
Do some flyes as well to expand your chest even more since this targets the oblique chest muscles.
Make sure you are also aware of these muscle building techniques which should really enhance and hasten the growth of your muscles.
One is called pyramids which basically involves lifting different amounts of weight for each set. So start off with a light weight then start increasing per set. You should try working till failure for all the sets to make it much more effective.
Another technique is called negative reps which basically is lifting weight well beyond your one rep max. Have a partner help you lift the weight up then lower it down yourself. This is extremely useful for putting lots of pressure and making your chest bigger.
