This article about multi-level marketing (MLM) business opportunity in the internet will tell you what it is not supposed to be. After all multi-level marketing comes in various schemes and scams according to the company or organizations which run them. I am not saying that all MLM business opportunities in the net are fraudulent and all deceptions for there are legitimate MLM business opportunities.
Let me then break the rules of logic in defining terms by expressing some points of what mlm business opportunity is not supposed to be to give us hints so as not to let our investments go to waste.
First a multi-level marketing business opportunity is not supposed to be a financial transaction that assures high interest to a person and later on fails at paying the agreed amount. This can be pyramiding.
It is not supposed to be a financial transaction wherein a large amount of payment is allotted for services rendered to the company or organization. For instance, mlm business opportunities are not supposed to extract payment from someone to sell the company’s product or service.
Furthermore, mlm business opportunities are not supposed to operate depending on the membership but rather on the sales of the product or service. It is not supposed to be concentrated on the number of people being recruited to earn profit but rather on selling the product or service. Some mlm business opportunities depend on the members and the payments they have to pay to gain the opportunity of multi-level marketing business rather than selling their products or services. Mlm business opportunities should not be without regard the number of people selling the same products and services for the same market.
Multi-level marketing business is not supposed to be a ploy to maneuver people who think that big money can just drop out from heaven that easily.
If one considers an internet-based business, multi-level marketing business is supposed to be an opportunity.
